  • 10 grams of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) stem powder
  • 10 grams of Musta (Cyperus rotundus) root powder
  • 10 grams of Parpataka (Fumaria parviflora) whole plant powder
  • 10 grams of Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) fruit powder
  • 10 grams of Daruharidra (Berberis aristata) root powder
  • 10 grams of Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia) root powder

Instructions:

  • Measure the specified quantities of each herb's powder as mentioned above.
  • Combine the Brihati, Kantakari, Guduchi, Musta, Parpataka, Haritaki, Daruharidra, and Manjishtha powders in a clean, dry pot.
  • Add 480 ml of water to the pot.
  • Boil the mixture until the volume reduces to about 120 ml (1/4th of the original volume).
  • Strain the decoction to remove any solid particles.
  • Allow the Brihatyadi Kashayam to cool to room temperature.
